As an Associate General Counsel (Commercial) at Orca Bio, you are leading the commercial legal function, playing a pivotal role in supporting our first U.S. product launch. By providing strategic, timely, and practical legal advice to the Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Patient Support functions, you are contributing to the development of innovative cancer biology treatments. You are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Providing expert guidance on U.S. healthcare laws, FDA promotional regulations, and compliance matters to ensure business operations are aligned with regulatory requirements


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Market Access, to develop and implement commercial strategies


• Serving as a subject matter expert on legal matters related to product launch, market access, and patient support programs


• Developing and maintaining relationships with external partners, such as law firms and regulatory consultants


• Analyzing and mitigating legal risks associated with commercial activities, including equity and human resources considerations


• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging issues in cancer biology and healthcare law


• Reporting to the SVP, Legal, and working closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of legal guidance into business operations.
