At Remitly, a leading global financial services company, we are seeking a skilled Data Analyst, Compliance to join our team in London, United Kingdom for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role entails driving data-driven insights to inform compliance decisions, ensuring the integrity and security of our global money transfer operations. As a Data Analyst, Compliance, you are contributing to the company's success by providing actionable analytics, identifying trends, and optimizing processes to mitigate risks. As a Data Analyst, Compliance, your key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining complex data models, warehouses, and dashboards to support compliance monitoring and reporting

  • Analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and presenting findings to stakeholders

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk, and product development to inform data-driven decisions

  • Designing and implementing data visualizations using Tableau to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Writing Python scripts to automate data processing, reporting, and analysis tasks

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, promoting best practices and ensuring data quality

  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our compliance analytics capabilities. You will be working closely with our compliance, risk, and product teams, reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance Analytics. Your day-to-day activities will involve working with large datasets, developing and refining analytics tools, and communicating insights to stakeholders.
