We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and credible security or legal professional to join our German team of Solution Engineers. For this role we are particularly interested in candidates who combine technology with a legal or data protection background and who bring knowledge of EU and German regulatory requirements in the field of data security and privacy. Significant technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND proven technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND demonstrable technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Law degree (Jura, LL.B./LL.M., First or Second State Examination) or comparable legal qualification, and/or proven professional experience as a lawyer, legal counsel, data protection officer, or in a regulatory/privacy advisory role Proficiency in both spoken and written communication in English and German (at least C1-level) Demonstrable knowledge of EU and German regulatory frameworks relevant to data security and privacy (e.g. GDPR/DSGVO, BDSG, NIS2, DORA, EU AI Act, EU Data Act) and/or hands-on experience in data privacy, with the ability to translate legal requirements into technical requirements Experience in Cybersecurity Proven experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture). Practical experience in data privacy/data protection, e.g. as Data Protection Officer (DSB), privacy counsel, or in a privacy/compliance function. Privacy or compliance certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or equivalent. Coordinate with sellers and manager to understand opportunities, compete scenarios and engagements to focus on, engaging and driving to own and win the technical decisions Enhance team capabilities for cloud native data security patterns and architectures; develop differentiated compete strategies for assigned customers. Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions; explain, demonstrate, and architect the solution to help solve customer data security challenges and priorities. Leverage insights and coach teams to align new or changing technology to customer needs. Engage with other teams within and outside the organization throughout the sales cycle. Engaging partners in sell-with scenarios and supporting their technical capabilities is key to scaling solution delivery.
