Director, Technical Program Management - Ads Foundations, Supply & Decisioning

Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a world-class team of Technical Program Managers. Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Strategic Program Leadership: Oversee the planning and reviews, tech planning and execution of multiple complex technical programs across various product domains. Ensure alignment with overall company objectives and product strategy. Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a central point of contact and trusted partner for Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, partner engineering orgs and other stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and decision-making. Operational Excellence: Define, implement, and optimize scalable program management processes, program KPIs and best practices. Drive continuous improvement in program execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Risk Management and Mitigation: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, and organizational risks across programs. Develop contingency plans and drive resolution of critical issues. Technical Acumen: Possess a strong understanding of software development lifecycles, architectural concepts, and technical dependencies to effectively guide and support TPMs and engineering teams. Influence and Communication: Communicate complex technical information and program status clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, from individual contributors to executive leadership. Influence decision-making at all levels. Resource Planning: Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to forecast and allocate TPM resources effectively across various initiatives. 15+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing and mentoring other TPMs. Deep expertise in ads platforms spanning supply, demand, and real-time decisioning, with hands-on experience driving programs across auction design, targeting, pacing, optimization, and end-to-end ads architecture. Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale, complex technical programs in a fast-paced product engineering environment. Demonstrated experience building, growing, and leading high-performing technical program management teams. Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority. Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex architectural concepts and engineering challenges. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and rapidly evolving environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
