Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies, managing media relations, conducting interviews, and creating engaging content that showcases Canva's innovative approach to design and artificial intelligence. Key responsibilities encompass:

• Crafting and disseminating press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials to elevate Canva's presence in EMEA


• Building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts, thought leaders, and influencers across Europe


• Conducting market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to ensure aligned messaging and campaigns


• Providing communications support for product launches, events, and activations


• Analyzing media coverage and campaign results to inform future communications strategies


• Developing and managing the budget for communications initiatives

You will be working closely with the global communications team, reporting to the Senior Communications Manager, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that Canva's message resonates with its European audience. Fluency in French, alongside proficiency in artificial intelligence and EMEA market dynamics, is essential for this role.
