As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, your key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and executing comprehensive reliability and test plans to ensure hardware meets stringent performance and quality standards

  • Collaborating with design engineers to create innovative and reliable mechanical systems that meet Starlink's technical requirements

  • Analyzing data and performing root cause analysis to identify and mitigate potential hardware failures

  • Working closely with manufacturing engineers to develop and implement efficient and cost-effective production processes

  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians

  • Developing and maintaining detailed technical documentation and reports to support design, test, and deployment activities
