As a Principal Electrical Engineer I - RPU Unit Lead at CesiumAstro in Westminster, CO, you are driving the design, development, integration, test, and flight qualification of advanced spaceborne payloads, focusing on our Reconfigurable Processing Unit (RPU) product line. You are responsible for leading the technical development of our RPU products, and your day-to-day activities include managing programs, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design, development, and testing of RPU products, ensuring compliance with Department of State regulations and configuration management standards


• Developing and managing program schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans


• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight


• Collaborating with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals


• Working closely with the production team to ensure seamless transition of products from development to production


• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals
