Principal Software Engineering Manager

Guide partnerships with appropriate stakeholders to determine user, security, and platform requirements within and across teams Lead the team in identifying dependencies and developing architecture and design documents for operating system security features and foundational platform capabilities Guide the development, optimization, debugging, refactoring, and reuse of low-level code to improve security, performance, reliability, and maintainability, as well as the team in diagnosing complex product issues, developing durable corrective actions, and supporting security-critical components throughout their lifecycle Lead product development and scaling to customer and platform requirements, applying engineering best practices and maintaining accountability for quality, security, and performance Model, coach, and care for team members by defining clear outcomes, enabling success across organizational boundaries, and investing in the growth of engineers Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience 4+ years people management experience
