Production Accountant

Monthly Reporting, Cost Reporting & Consolidation Add new titles to the accounting system and ensure accurate setup. Populate actuals, Estimates to Complete (ETCs), and Estimates Final Cost (EFCs) for each title. Review actuals for accuracy and investigate any discrepancies. Add new contractual agreements as needed. Collaborate with associates to review and verify data. Prepare and provide final copies of reports for manager review. Process invoices (e.g., voice recording studios, music, travel, and independent contractors). Ensure all pay schedules, invoices, email approvals, and backup documentation are properly saved in internal show folders Ensure all costs are fully and accurately captured. Ensure all projects adhere to union standards. Stay current on union minimums and fringe benefits. Minimum 3 years of experience in production accounting or a similar role, preferably in entertainment or media. Strong understanding of production finance workflows and systems. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
