As a Senior Accounting Manager, your key responsibilities include managing the accounting team, overseeing financial statement preparation, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations. Your day-to-day activities involve
- Managing a team of accountants and contractors to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve accounting operations and efficiency
