Your day-to-day activities involve leading the design and implementation of database architectures, leveraging your expertise in databases, SQL, Postgres, and artificial intelligence to drive data-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and optimizing database schemas to support high-performance and scalable applications


• Collaborating with data scientists and product teams to design and implement data pipelines and workflows


• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all databases and systems


• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the growth and development of the team


• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve Cloudflare's data engineering capabilities


• Working closely with the engineering team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and delivering high-quality solutions on time
