As a Senior Security Software Engineer, your day-to-day activities involve designing, developing, and implementing secure software solutions that meet the highest standards of security and compliance, including HIPAA. Your key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining cloud-based security solutions using Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and other cutting-edge technologies


• Ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive healthcare data, including personal identifiable information and protected health information


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and implementing measures to prevent data breaches and cyber-attacks


• Conducting security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses


• Developing and implementing compliance frameworks and controls to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and other industry standards


• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to help them develop their skills and expertise in cloud security and compliance


• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and applying that knowledge to improve the company's security posture.
