Senior Software Engineer

Drive performance, scalability, and architectural improvements across Office web applications. Identify and resolve performance issues using telemetry, profiling, and experimentation. Lead complex cross-team engineering initiatives and technical design efforts. Apply agentic AI to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and code modernization. Establish engineering practices that improve quality, reliability, and performance. Mentor engineers and contribute to technical excellence across the organization. Participate in on-call support and drive resolution of production issues. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Master's degree with 6+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent experience. Experience leading complex, cross-team engineering initiatives and driving technical decisions. Experience improving performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale web applications. Experience modernizing large codebases through architectural improvements, refactoring, and performance optimization. Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage agentic AI for software development, code transformation, testing, debugging, and engineering productivity.
