Senior Software Engineer

Design and deliver AI-powered capabilities using large language models (LLMs), with a focus on effective context management, reliability, and measurable customer value. Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions using technologies such as Azure Cosmos DB and semantic search to provide relevant, grounded responses. Apply AI-assisted and agentic development practices and tools to improve engineering productivity, quality, and delivery. Collaborate with engineering, product, and partner teams to translate customer needs and organizational priorities into scalable technical solutions. Contribute to the long-term technical direction of the team by evaluating emerging AI approaches, sharing knowledge, and improving engineering practices. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience Experience designing, developing, or operating production software systems or services. Experience developing applications or services using large language models (LLMs), retrieval systems, semantic search, or other AI/ML technologies. Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Additional skills to strengthen across the team include hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), particularly context management and optimization; building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions using Cosmos DB and semantic search; and adopting agentic development practices with tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate implementation, testing, and delivery.
