Your day-to-day activities as a Silicon Validation Manager involve overseeing the validation process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that silicon components meet our rigorous standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing validation plans for silicon components, utilizing your expertise in firmware, characterization, and testing


• Utilizing C/C++ programming languages, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers to validate component performance and troubleshoot issues


• Collaborating with hardware and software engineering teams to identify and resolve component-level issues


• Analyzing data and providing insights to inform design and validation decisions


• Mentoring and guiding junior team members to develop their validation skills and expertise


• Working closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of validated components into the Waymo Driver
