Your day-to-day activities as a Software Engineer - Backend include:

• Designing and implementing concurrency designs to ensure high-performance and low-latency systems


• Developing and maintaining NoSQL databases and Dynamo systems to support large-scale data storage and retrieval


• Collaborating with game developers to integrate backend services with mobile games and ensure a smooth player experience


• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of the overall code quality and architecture


• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, working closely with the QA team to identify and fix bugs


• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our backend systems


• Working closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of our backend services. You will be reporting to the Technical Lead and working closely with a talented team of engineers, game developers, and designers. To succeed in this role, you need to possess strong technical skills in game development, concurrency design, and NoSQL databases, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
