You are responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Designing and developing APIs using Dynamo and other technologies


• Architecting and designing databases to support high-performance and scalability


• Collaborating with the IAM team to integrate Okta and other identity management systems


• Developing and maintaining distributed systems that power Kong's core platform


• Working with the engineering team to identify and prioritize project requirements


• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of the codebase


• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. You are utilizing your technical skills in API development, database architecture, and distributed systems, as well as your soft skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. You are working closely with the engineering team, reporting to the engineering manager, and are an integral part of the team's dynamics. You are leveraging your expertise in API development, database architecture, and distributed systems to drive the development of Kong's core platform.
