Software Engineer II

Design, develop, and operate highly available, scalable, secure, and observable cloud services. Drive technical design and implementation for complex engineering problems, evaluating architectural approaches and trade-offs. Drive features and projects end-to-end, from requirements and design through deployment and production readiness. Build deep domain expertise in cloud infrastructure, global deployment technologies, and sovereign cloud engineering. Collaborate with partner teams to define technical solutions, resolve dependencies, and deliver cross-service capabilities. Improve service reliability and operational excellence through automation, monitoring, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis. Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Java, C++ OR equivalent experience. Experience driving complex or ambiguous engineering projects from design through delivery. Deep experience with software design, implementation, testing, and debugging. Demonstrated ability to build reliable, maintainable, and well-tested software. Advanced collaboration and communication skills across engineering teams and disciplines.
