Job Description

Deep dive into AI and GPU code and OS with the intent of analyzing them for fundamentals - performance, power and reliability. Utilize internal and external tools to collect telemetry, logs, analyze bugs / bottlenecks and determine next steps. Design, implement, test feature and OS improvements in the latest Windows OS. Work with the local team and internal and external partners to plan and execute identified improvements. Build secure, scalable, compliant code using AI; review human- and AI-generated code. Utilize agentic AI and process to work faster, integrated into the daily tool and process flow within WSSI. Contribute to architecture discussions and design documents, ensuring performance, reliability, accessibility, privacy, and compliance. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Python. OR equivalent experience. Demonstrated knowledge in Modern OS and application analysis (Windows, Linux, etc.). 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, [C, C++, C#, Python, or other relevant languages]. Experience in AI workloads, APIs, application development (ONNX, ONNX Runtime, AI Models, AI / NPU HW and driver development). Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) API knowledge (DirectX, Vulkan, etc..), graphical application development (games, 3D, game engines). Familiarity with benchmark usage (3Dmark, Procyon AI, MLPerf, etc.) and performance analysis.
