Software Engineer

Contribute to platform capabilities including data connectors, developer tooling, SDKs, automation, and engineering productivity improvements. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and partner teams to deliver reliable and customer-focused solutions. Improve software quality, performance, diagnosability, and maintainability through testing, telemetry, monitoring, and engineering best practices. Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting efforts while contributing to the design and development of Power Query platform components. Contribute to features and components throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, validation, deployment, and support. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Experience developing software, services, platforms, or developer technologies. Familiarity with data connectivity, APIs, databases, or data integration technologies. Familiarity with software engineering practices such as source control, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration. Experience or familiarity with technologies such as C#, .NET, TypeScript, SQL, Azure, or related technologies. Interest in solving technical challenges involving data connectivity, reliability, performance, and platform engineering.
