Design and build features for Outlook Mobile, defining architecture and technical approaches for a secure, high-performance application. Produce well-tested, maintainable, and instrumented code. Use telemetry and analytics to identify issues, understand usage patterns, and improve reliability and performance. Develop high-quality user experiences that align with mobile UI and UX design standards. Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and partner teams to define requirements, APIs, technical solutions, and development tools. Use customer feedback, product data, experimentation, and usage insights to guide design decisions and continuously improve the Outlook Mobile experience. Apply AI-assisted coding tools responsibly to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high standards for correctness, security, testing, and maintainability. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python; OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience in those languages; OR equivalent experience. Demonstrated customer focus and a track record of delivering high-quality user experiences. Solid project management, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills. Experience with modern mobile architecture, performance, reliability, telemetry, and experimentation. Experience using AI-assisted coding tools in software engineering workflows.
