As a Sr. Flight Reliability Engineer, your key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive reliability and risk management strategies for Starship's systems and subsystems

  • Collaborating with design and test teams to identify and mitigate potential failure modes, using finite automata and other analytical techniques

  • Creating and maintaining detailed spreadsheets and databases to track and analyze reliability metrics and trends

  • Leading change management initiatives to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes

  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and developing contingency plans to ensure the safety and success of Starship missions

  • Working closely with quality assurance teams to develop and implement robust testing and validation protocols
