Job Description

Develop strategies and recommendations to evolve our regional benefit programs, aligned with local and global objectives. Review and assess benefit programs for financial management, compliance, competitiveness, and effective delivery. Lead the end-to-end vendor review process with our brokers and consultants, overseeing renewals and RFPs for regional benefits and service providers. Build program evaluation metrics with vendors and thought partners to support our decisions to maintain, enhance, or sunset regional benefits. Build a supportive network of stakeholders to advocate for benefits engagement, visibility, and future investments. Owns consultant relationship Own US retirement strategy, providing strategic direction and oversight to the US Retirement Delivery & Administration role on plan design, competitiveness, and vendor strategy. Partner with Finance on all US benefits financials and forecasting, including IBNR, accruals, budget planning, and cost trend analysis across retirement and healthcare. Partner with the US Healthcare lead — who manages vendor relationships, contribution strategy, and engagement with our engagement manager to ensure healthcare strategy is grounded in accurate financials and forecasting. Partner with the Leaves & Time Off benefits manager to benchmark US leave and time off programs against market practice and drive plan design changes across the US region. Develop and maintain a US benefits strategy that ties retirement, healthcare, and leave into one coherent roadmap, aligned to global benefits strategy and objectives. Review and assess US benefit programs for financial management, compliance, competitiveness, and effective delivery. Build program evaluation metrics with vendors, consultants, and internal thought partners to support decisions to maintain, enhance, or sunset US benefits. Monitor benefits escalations and emerging themes to inform strategy and plan design recommendations. Build a strong network across Finance, Healthcare, Leaves, and Retirement to keep US benefits strategy grounded, current, and well-supported. 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. This role owns US benefits strategy across retirement, healthcare, and leave/time off, ensuring programs are competitive, financially sound, and aligned to market benchmarks. The role has indirect oversight of retirement delivery and administration, and partners closely with the leads for US Healthcare and US Leaves & Time Off, as well as Finance, to drive an integrated US benefits roadmap. This is a strategy and financial stewardship role rather than a people-management role. Success depends on influence and cross-functional partnership rather than direct authority. 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with retirement plan strategy (401(k) design, vendor oversight, benchmarking). Strong financial acumen, including experience with benefits forecasting, IBNR, and working directly with Finance/Accounting. Demonstrated ability to influence and drive strategy without direct authority over the teams executing it.
