Your day-to-day activities will include developing and implementing metrology strategies, performing tolerance analysis, and designing inspection plans to ensure compliance with critical design requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining GD&T and tolerance analysis expertise to drive design for manufacturability and assembly
- Collaborating with design teams to ensure design Intent is properly translated into manufacturing and inspection requirements
- Creating and implementing inspection plans and procedures to ensure product quality and repeatability
- Working closely with suppliers to develop and qualify new inspection methodologies and technologies
- Analyzing and resolving complex metrology and inspection issues using artificial intelligence and robotics expertise
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in metrology and inspection to continuously improve our processes
- Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance to the team. You will be reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager and working closely with a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about innovation and excellence.
