Your day-to-day activities as a Staff Engineer, Billing include:

• Designing and developing scalable billing systems that integrate with Forter's fraud prevention platform


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, product, and sales to identify and prioritize billing requirements


• Developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Python


• Optimizing and troubleshooting billing systems to ensure high performance and reliability


• Working with Redis and other caching technologies to improve system efficiency


• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of the overall engineering process


• Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working closely with the billing team to drive project delivery and success. You will be leveraging your technical expertise in data engineering, ERP, and software development to drive the growth and success of Forter's billing systems.
