Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and modeling photonic devices, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate photonics into larger systems, and developing and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and refining photonic device models using advanced simulation tools and techniques


• Designing and testing photonic systems, including optical fibers, lasers, and other components


• Collaborating with engineers to integrate photonics into larger systems and applications


• Creating and implementing quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality photonic devices


• Developing and maintaining test equipment and procedures to validate photonic device performance
