Enabling millisecond control of cooling, real-time thermal telemetry and analytics, workload-aware orchestration and seamless software integration, our solutions are cooling data centers in the present to unthrottled opportunities for the future.     SUMMARY OF ROLEReporting to the Director of Supply Chain Management and based in Thailand, the successful candidate will be able to responsible for the day-to-day management of supplier partnerships across the globe and mainly in support of our factory operations in Durham and contract manufacturing partnerships overseas. You will drive a small supply chain team based in the Durham office and work cross functionally with program managers, supply chain team members, engineering, and quality teams across the organization to implement and execute to processes that meet quality, delivery, and cost requirements.This position is also responsible for key supplier management, namely Phononic’s US-based suppliers. Build partnerships, negotiate and prepare supplier agreements, and work with the strategic sourcing team to evaluate and qualify new suppliers. You will also lead the supply chain responsibilities that support ISO9001, EMS14001 and IATF16949 management systems.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSLead sourcing activities for direct and indirect componentsIdentify and on-board new suppliersCreate and place purchase orders with suppliers and contract manufacturersManage cost and inventory of materials with data and metrics to reduce costsFacilitate supplier corrective action requests (SCARs)Negotiate directly with suppliersTrack supplier score cards and perform supplier reviewsProject manage cost savings initiatives with suppliersExpedite and escalate deliveries as neededSupport Supply Chain improvement initiativesSupport company quality management system initiatives through continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and auditingOther responsibilities as assigned
