As the first unicorn in public transportation technology, Optibus is driving the modernization of mass transit to make it the preferred choice for cities and passengers alike.About the position: As a Workplace Manager, you will be part of a small cross-functional People and Office Operations team where you will cover for a key employee on maternity leave - all while being part of a high growth SaaS scale-up, on a mission to redefine the future of mass transit. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly collaborative and inclusive team where you can have an impact across the entire region.This role will be office-based, with 5 days per week in a San Sebastian office, for a duration of 12 months. Responsibilities:You will be the first point of contact for all employees and will collaborate with the people team to support onboarding (preparing a security card, health & safety, adding to the relevant Slack channels, etc.)Reception duties –you will be responsible for managing the reception area and ensure that all guests are properly received, identified, and directed to the appropriate contacts in the office.You will manage internal and external partners (property management, suppliers, service providers, tradesmen, etc.)You will be in charge of our communal spaces and order management (snacks, drinks, office supplies, Optibus swag)You will collaborate on growing and maintaining a company culture based on humility, inclusion and belonging while taking care of appreciation initiatives (birthdays, anniversaries)You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and local leadership on planning and organising company happy hours, gatherings, events/parties, meetings and off-sitesYou are the point of contact and will take the lead on health and safety topics
