Senior Software Engineer - Trust Experience and Compliance team

We're looking for an experienced software engineer to join the Windows and Devices organization. In this role, the ideal candidate will- Design, build, and ship scalable software and AI-powered solutions that transform how Windows engineering teams navigate trust, compliance, and engineering workflows. Apply modern AI technologies to real-world engineering problems, simplifying complex processes and improving developer productivity and experiences. Drive engineering excellence through thoughtful design, implementation, testing, measurement, reliability, and operational quality. Provide technical leadership across projects, influence technical direction, mentor other engineers, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and open collaboration. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 6+ years of software design and development experience using one or more programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python. Experience applying AI technologies to real-world software solutions, engineering workflows, or process transformation. Proficiency in software design, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Experience designing for reliability, testing, measurement, and operational quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Ability to navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and drive projects from concept through delivery. Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence technical decisions across teams and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences. Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and contributing to engineering excellence.
