Named Account Executive – Aerospace & Defence at Airkit, London, UK
Airkit is redefining customer engagement in the Salesforce ecosystem, and we need a high‑impact sales leader to own our most strategic aerospace and defence accounts. In this role you will be the trusted advisor who translates complex mission‑critical requirements into cloud‑native, low‑code solutions that accelerate digital transformation for global OEMs, integrators and defense contractors. Your success directly fuels Airkit’s market penetration, revenue growth, and reputation as the go‑to platform for secure, compliant, and scalable customer journeys in a heavily regulated industry. You will operate at the intersection of technology and defense, shaping multi‑year contracts, influencing product roadmaps, and positioning Airkit as an indispensable partner. The position offers a clear pathway to senior leadership, with opportunities to expand your portfolio, mentor junior reps, and eventually lead a regional vertical team.

Key Responsibilities & Skills:
- Drive full‑cycle sales for named aerospace and defence accounts, from prospecting senior C‑suite stakeholders to closing multi‑year, high‑value contracts.
- Conduct deep discovery workshops to map mission‑critical processes onto Airkit’s low‑code platform, articulating ROI, compliance benefits, and security advantages.
- Build and nurture executive relationships across program offices, systems engineering, and procurement, becoming the de‑facto advisor on digital engagement strategy.
- Collaborate with product, solution engineering, and legal teams to tailor proposals, address ITAR/EAR restrictions, and ensure rapid proof‑of‑concept delivery.
- Forecast pipeline, manage CRM hygiene, and report quarterly performance to the Head of Global Sales, contributing insights that shape go‑to‑market tactics.
- Leverage Salesforce ecosystem knowledge to integrate Airkit solutions with Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft, delivering end‑to‑end customer experiences.
- Mentor junior sales colleagues, sharing best practices on complex deal structures and defense‑sector compliance.

Ideal candidates combine a proven record of exceeding quota in enterprise SaaS sales with deep familiarity of aerospace & defence procurement cycles, security standards, and regulatory frameworks. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
